Background/Overview
Initially in September 2005 I started this blog to capture my experiences as I entered into Corporate America. My experiences were shared by many others including fellow interns and co-workers at Hitachi Data Systems. Working alongside Jeremiah Owyang, I managed to dive into the social media space early on and work on several community marketing initiatives. Although, I had no idea social media would take off and be mainstream as it is today.
Now, in 2009, I have a different perspective on what is now a hot topic, thanks to Twitter and Facebook. These tools (and others) have changed the way we communicate both in our personal and business space. Industries across the world are using social tools as part of their Marketing and PR strategies–this was unheard of back in 2005.
